Avance advises Eolus Vind AB (publ)., a Swedish public company engaged in development of renewable energy, in connection with the cooperation arrangement concerning a portfolio of onshore wind power projects with Finsilva Oyj, a leading private independent forest owner.
The five projects included in the transaction and to be developed by Eolus have a combined potential capacity of more than 600 MW, which equals approximately 10 per cent of Finland’s current aggregate wind power capacity. The projects are located in Central Finland with favorable conditions for grid connections and expected to be developed at a rapid phase. The first projects are estimated to be commissioned in 2027.
