Avance advises Hemsö in the acquisition of Siltavuorenpenger 10, a property located in the traditional university area in Kruununhaka and currently used by the University of Helsinki. After the acquisition, Hemsö owns some 130,000 sqm of educational properties in Finland, including five university level properties in Helsinki.
The Siltavuorenpenger property, built in 1961, was renovated in 2002 and comprises approx. 6,900 square meters of floor area. The University of Helsinki will continue on the premises as a tenant until 2024 and Hemsö intends to keep the property in educational use also in the future.
