Avance advises NYSE listed Medical Properties Trust, Inc. in the acquisition of a property portfolio of four general acute hospitals in Helsinki, Oulu, Turku and Kuopio for approx. EUR 178 million. The facilities are leased to Pihlajalinna, one of the largest private hospital operators in Finland.
This transaction in Finland is at the same time MPT’s entry into the Nordic region, increasing its overall investment footprint to 10 countries.
