Avance advises the principal owners of Mediverkko in the combination of Mediverkko and Mehiläinen to become a pioneer within Finnish healthcare and social services. Mediverkko and Mehiläinen have a combined turnover 2013 of approximately EUR 366 million and EBIT of EUR 38.4 million. The combined entity has over 100 managed units (hospitals, clinics, institutions or assisted living homes) and presence in practically all of the 30 largest cities in Finland. The completion of the transaction is subject to receipt of customary competition clearances.
