Salla Suominen has been appointed to the working group established by Ministry of Justice to amend the Finnish Corporate Restructuring Act (“Yrityssaneerauslaki”) to meet the requirements set by the Directive (EU) 2019/1023 on preventive restructuring frameworks. The working group will also explore other necessary amendments required in related Finnish legislation to meet the goals set on the Programme of Marin’s Government and to generally increase the effectiveness of restructuring proceedings.
The working group includes representatives from, among others, the financial sector, tax authority and Confederation of Finnish Industries. The term of the working group will end on 30 April 2021.
