Avance’s Economics and Policy team has published a report on the development needs of the Finnish health sector research and innovation ecosystem. The report argues that investments in the ecosystem have the potential of limiting the rise in public healthcare costs as well as creating thousands of new jobs and substantial export revenues. The report sets out a roadmap for the development of the national research and innovation ecosystem extending up until 2040 as well as several concrete policy initiatives for implementing the roadmap.
